Rennersistas – Pin-Oh! Noir 2023 A masterful, low-intervention take on one of the world’s most demanding grapes. The “Pin-Oh!” is pure, unadulterated Burgenland Pinot Noir, showcasing the elegant, ethereal, and incredibly fresh side of the region’s terroir. To preserve the grape’s vibrant energy, Stefanie and Georg utilize a very short maceration—just 3 to 4 days on the skins using 100% whole bunches, extracting brilliant, high-toned fruit aromatics while keeping the tannins remarkably soft. Following spontaneous fermentation, the wine rests for 7 months on its fine lees in large, 1,200-liter used oak foudres, developing a beautiful, silky texture without losing any of its freshness or taking on any heavy oak flavors. It offers a beautiful bouquet of tart red cherry and crushed raspberry, seamlessly integrated with the classic, earthy “forest floor” notes that Pinot lovers crave. On the palate, it is light on its feet and incredibly finessed, driven by bright, lively acidity. It is a serious yet highly drinkable wine that shines alongside roasted poultry, earthy mushroom risotto, or a premium charcuterie board. For the best experience, serve it slightly cooler than room temperature.
