Kirkland Signature – 5% Extra Strength Minoxidil – For Men

As a black person, one wants to be sure products that do not feature many adverts with people who look like me will actually yield pleasing results. It is because of this that I often become a tester of products to give feedback such as this and I must say, for people with type 4 hair this is worth a try. I was 24 when I first tried this product and was pleased to see my hair actually growing back and keeping healthy. I used it together with dermarolling and a blend of Jamaincan Black Castor Oil and Tea Tree Oil once a week after washing and deep conditioning my hair. As stated in the packaging, recession in my hairline in front didn’t see as much regrowth as my crown which pretty much thinned out violently a few months after I stopped using the minoxidil. It truly kept my hair in place. The reasons I stopped was the regrowth began to feel slow and the dermarolling had made my head feel tender (although I believe I might have just been continually adding pressure without realising). This I do not blame on the product however as my history with hair regrowth treatment ahowed me that taking an oral DHT blocker in conjuctiom with using a topical one works best in my person case so I am on the road to saving up cash to stock up on minoxidil (perhaps give the foam a try as it is said to dry much quicker than the formula) as get myself an oral supplement as well to get my hair back and keep this fight going. In conclusion, the price may look slightly high but from my personal experience I say it’s worth a try. I have a history of hairloss in my family and started rather late in my own hairloss journey with very miniature hair left but saw results. The early you take hold of this, the better for YOU. Do not let anyone stop you from working on yourself. If this is something that has dug at your confidence and self-esteem then I beg you to consider muting people trying to tell people to accept your fate if you still want to try this. Godspeed
