I have a lot of cats and a lot of microchip feeders. For the most part, I have them up against the wall and next to each other so other cats can't really sneak behind and steal food. However, I do have a few that are by themselves and have had to place them inside a box to keep other cats from stealing food. This is really annoying considering how much these microchip feeders cost and that the main point is to make sure only the cat assigned to the feeder has access. The brand name rear cover costs a lot, making it not worth the purchase since a box can work for a lot less. For the price, this one is worth it. It fits PERFECTLY and makes it impossible for another cat to steal from the back of the feeder. I will probably be buying a few more.
